to remove the engine cover?

Default to remove the engine cover?

Hi there, how do you remove the large silver engine cover from an 04 coupe non-SRT? Kind regards

Just pull on it... I started at the back left corner, and worked my way around... It's held on with rubber Grommets...

A little WD40 when you put it together makes it easier to take off next time..

Be sure when putting it back on that you are sure to line it up with the throttle body at the center in back with the opening on the cover and create a good seal
This is where the air flows from the filters to the engine.

Thank you very much! I was checking the levels etc today and was looking how to remove it to check my air filters but it looked quite secure!

WD40 will help you get it on but dries up quickly, but a little white grease on the clips will help you get it on and off later much better.

Yea... probably a better Idea for the long term.....

What is white grease and if I ask for it at O'Reilly's will they know what I mean? Thanks!

White grease is Lithium grease.
