Yes. It works, mainly for circuit boards.

Build up the thickness to carry more current.

I've used a plain wooden pencil to calibrate a GM tachometer before, one on Judge is still fine a decade later.

I am going to try this on some circuit boards, think i will order the silver pen

I seen this being used on the car show wheeler dealers they repaired a earth ground on a 66 corvette clock

Depends on what board you're working on. I bought the finest tip they offered and it was too fat, then when I got it in place anyway (which is a pain) the resistance was too high. IMHO, toss it and jump with wire.
