removal of the engine cover

Question removal of the engine cover

Please excuse my ignorance, but could someone tell me how to remove the cover on top of the engine.

I've never done it but the last time that question was asked, the response was, it just pulls off!

Thanks for the reply, I also thought I saw that post. Really like to know if there are clips, or what holds it on. Don't want to break it trying to remove it.

YUP !!! Just slowly work it up from each corner... There are clips attached to the "AIR BOX" and rubber grommets attached to the engine block... Nice snugly fit...

Snugs the word; put your hands right under the cover at the rear first and lift up and then do the same at the front. The first time, you will find it a very tight fit but keep working at it from underneath.
