passenger door problem
So I've had my crossfire for about 8 weeks now, and it's gotta be the coolest car I've ever owned, hands down, but I have noticed on little problem, and wanted to see if anyone else had experience the same thing.
If I close my passenger door and the window is rolled all the way up, occassionally, the window will not tuck underneath the rubber gasket at the top of the window towards the back portion of the glass, In other words, the front portion of the glass slides nicely under the gasket, but as you move back along the window, it begins to come out, and the at the back, the window is actually on the outside of the gasket. When it happens, the door can not be closed tightly, and I'm concerned about water getting in. The gasket is fine, and seated correctly, and if I roll the window down slightly before closing the door... no problems.
If that made any sense at all, and anyone else has had a similar issue and found a fix, I'd love to know. If I can get a picture of it, I'll post it to show what I mean.
Appreciate the help!

I think I've seen that discussed before in relation to the wind noise problem. It sounds like your window is out of adjustment. The window track needs to be adjusted so that the back of the window doesn't go up quite that high. The dealer should be able to fix it.
I've got that problem on the driver's door. It appeared at about 7500 miles.
I've had it back to the dealer four times and told them about the service bulletin and they still haven't been able to fix it.

There should be a TSB on this problem. The dealer should have a record of that and follow the bulletin instructions for the fix. Possibly, you have something different though.
I had the same problem from day one.
Had the wife take it in and they told her..........................
"It's because the Crossfire cabin is air tight and if you close the drivers door first and then the passenger door next, the air being compressed forces the window out which causes the window to catch on the rain guard, The solution is to close the drivers door with window slightly open ,close the passenger door and then roll up the drivers window OR lower passengers window before you close the door is best"!!!!!!!!!!!
SSSSSSsssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooo............. ....Once I came down off of the ceiling that evening after the wife told me of this Automotive Engineering Answer......
I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP!!
My first question was.......................
If the compression of the drivers/passengers compartment is so air tight that it causes the "Passengers Window" to not seal THEN why doesn't the same compressed area NOT let the "Drivers Window" not seal if the passengers side door is closed FIRST??????
Hmmmmnnnnn!?
And my second question was...............
ALSO, Where is the compression factor when I leave the Drivers Door OPEN and close the Passengers Door and the window edge catches the rain gutter, LIKE THIS?????????????????
It is an adjustment that can be taken care of at your dealership.
Don't let them BS you, like they did my wife.

That's a classic "I'm a stupid service department guy who doesn't know why you'r car is doing this..." answer. I think I would have just broke down laughing if he told me that! =) It is comforting to know that the crossfire could double as a space ship though if ever needed since the cabin is so airtight... Although now I"m worried about suffocation while driving if I don't roll the windows down or turn the air conditioning on.
Glad to know that I"m not the only one with this problem though... More ammo for when I finally get around to bring the car in.

dont go to the dealer. you can probably fix it yourself with a 10mm socket and extension.
ive had this problem since day one and finally decided i would take care of it. after reading through the door panel removel https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ead.php?t=3475 (thanks x-fired) i went out this morning, removed the door panel, and looked for the adjustment bolts. stop right there. you dont need to remove the door panel to make the adjustments ::doh::
just remove the water drain pop-ins underneath the door, and remove the metal bracket that is on the door above the door latch (two small torx heads). adjusting these three bolts is all you need. but be careful. if you drop the socket inside the door panel like i did you WILL need to remove the door panel (good thing mine was already off
