Question fault code p505

I was routinely checking my car for faults, and found a P505 fault code. This is what I've been able to determine what that means:

Powertrain- Vehicle Speed, Idle Control, and Auxillary Inputs - ISO/SAE Controlled
Idle Air Control Motor Circuit Conditions
Key on or engine running, system voltage more than 10v, IAC motor active, then the PCM detected a short in one of the four IAC motor circuits for 2.75 seconds.

So, what now?? What do I need to look at to get rid of this code permanently? Can someone translate? This car is for sale, and it will be hard to sell with any code squawking.

Thank you for your help.

It is “Idle control system malfunction” according to the Crossfire fault codes.
I would look for a vacuum leak on the engine somewhere. Have you done any work on the engine lately?

No work has been done. I will have to check hoses to see if one has come loose. A hose that has come off is easy, but how would you go about checking for a pin hole or something like that? Thanks for you help.
