Default New Crossfire Lock Sets With Key FOB’s

We obtained a couple of these Chrysler boxed lock sets from a closed dealership. They are complete with coded door and hatch locks, a key module and two, precut FOB’s. I’m curious If anyone knows their function or if anyone can use them. I was told by another Crossfire owner they are useless without a new engine computer. I find that hard to believe. Anyone help? Anyone need one? They are Chrysler issued in sealed Mopar boxes.

These kits were on eBay some time a year ago at most, you may be able to see what they sold for, around $600 or so I think. You do not have to buy a new ECM.
All these parts need to be fitted as they all use the keys in the kit. The keys have a chip in them for security purposes and it has a secret code.
Since then companies have seen that money can be made by repairing that boxy module which is called a SKREEM in which case all those parts are not required.
The fobs are useful on there own when the chip inside is replaced with an existing chip from an old fob or is reprogrammed to suit an existing SKREEM.
Use search on this site or Google to look into it more.
Someone will want these, do not sell them cheap, patience is a virtue.
Others will chime in I am sure.

I’d take $500 each including shipping within the US. We have thee available.

I would be able to program the skreem to your ECU but I'm from Germany so that's not an option. But you have to program your ECU to get the skreem to work, without it would not run.

Thanks for the input. Since these are so specific and a majority have no idea how to program them or have the correct equipment, it’s difficult to sell them without a degree of aggravation. I’ve had to accept two back for refunds already because the buyers were unable to figure out the procedure. Sadly, I may trash them to avoid any more issues and move on..

Don't trash them, I would pay you $100.00 for one, just to have. I just wouldn't pay 500.00.

I would also be interested in one of these at a $100.
