2005 crossfire

How do I get the car out of park to get it on a rollback towing vehicle

just in front( between you and the shifter) of the shifter there is a slot for a flat tip screw driver that releases the shifter so U can put it into neueral and roll it.

Even a pencil will work. I have an Itasca Motor Home on a Sprinter Chassis (by Mercedes) and was on the road when it wouldn't come out of park. I called a tow truck , hoping they could do something and while waiting realized it was the same as my crossfire. I poked a ballpoint pen in it and it unlocked. It would start but not come out of park. I was able to drive it home. It turned out to be a faulty brake switch.

Do you have any pictures of this slot??

Poke a pen or screwdriver in the little hole covered by the flap just to the rear of the W/S switch, that is the emergency release.
