Default swap your diff in one hour.

Update on changing the rear end ,(differential)
1 remove the drive shaft (at least the rear 1/2 remember to align the notches when reinstall)
2 install a jack under the rear end ( diff)
3 remove the three bolts that hold the diff.
4 lower and nose dive the diff to the left or right, (hard/push it ) this will let u get the axles out
You may loose a little oil, so have 2 qts ready to replace the oil
5 lower your jack / diff it is out,,
6 now reverse that to install diff back into the car

note ::You do not have to remove any control arms you don't have have your car realigned simple job about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Always great information.
When removing axels, any issues with the axel seals?

No, but you will have to force out the last inch
of the axle coming out of the rear you will think it won't come out, just push the diff a little more down
and away from the axle U R removing (nose dive the diff )
I have changed 4 or 5 that way , and now it is like why did i ever take all the control arms off ,,
I remember the first or second time we were swapping the diff, i took off the tires, most of the brakes all the control
except the lower control arm the brake plate folded down after we removed the nut and took the axle out
,yes removed the springs also I was going by the book .
after i think the third or 4 time , we were taking apart just one side ,Miami ,Matt ( matt said hold on let me see how low
this rear will go before it binds,, As he lowered and doing a nose dive and forward and the axle came right out .
i mean we went Oh sh** we did it . Just work with it ,it will come out We did the other side like wow The diff is out.
for the other side just move the diff away from the axle and of course it comes out like butter.
now reverse that and back in with the new or other one.

Thanks for that question. it required an answer about how we got it out that some may stop there and start removing control arms, jim
