I see you have the extremely rare "Hardtop Roadster", just wondered if you are having problems with the folding roof mechanism, something about it just doesn't look quite right somehow ?
see you the weekend !

Hi Beeblebrox, Yea one thinks the wiring could be put in the wrong way round , Do you think i was alittle heavy with the machine polishing the other week .

Hi Hairydalek , Yea your on the right lines , wash & dry ,claybar ,Polish . thats what i do , after you have gone over with the claybar /detail spray (you have to keep the clay bar wet & the painted surface wet ) , the surface feels like after you have polished very smooth & clean ,you do not put any weight on the claybar while you are going over the paint work , you need to keep the clay warm & clean , if you drop the clay bar on the floor IT GOES IN THE BIN & NOT BACK ON THE CAR . it picks up dirt very well , I will bring whats left of my claybar this weekend so you can have a look . follow the links below

Andy, I second your point re spending more time with the Xfire and less in the house. I have a TV in the garage and addition heating for me and the Xfire..I've had a few special sports cars over the years, but as an all rounder in comfort, speed and head turning, the Xfire come's out the winner. Plus, it's the only one that my wife enjoys traveling in.
See you soon.
Ken.

Hi Ken Uk , These cars should come with a heath warning , not for the speed or MPG
(heavy right type of driver) . But for the way they get right under you skin , Not that long ago i was always going to get another 1960's Sunbeam Tiger as i did own one in my younger days (that V8 engine ), But now having a Xfire thats gone right out the window , Just think no ABS ,AC ,ESP ,no airbags , fixed seatbelts , no boot wing going up & down , No road tax , hang on one minute No road tax , you see what i mean .
Anyway its all gone abit off topic so back to the cleaning .
See ya Sat

I had hoped that I'd be able to give mine quick wash before the weekend. Seems that the weather is going to do the job for me. Ho hum. I've braved the downpour and given it a bit of help with a quick rub-down with the hand cleaner.
