Top marks to Karmann - Marlene gets some badges!
I dropped Karmann a note on their site about my car the other week, and asked where I could get some badges. I got nothing back, and I was a bit disappointed that they had not sent me a reply telling me where I could get some.
Today, an envelope with a couple of Karmann badges and a couple of stickers arrived in the post from them. For free too, it seems.
So I have to spend some time working out a small template to help me get them lined up properly.
I'm not sure where to put the stickers (if anywhere). What did other do with them, or am I just lucky?

if you're talking about the individual letters ost people put that under their wing, i'm not sure about the badges i didn't use mine since my car is black

I have a Black xfire coupe and the Karmann badges look fantastic. Mine are located lower front wing just in front of the door..check out the galley pictures there are many locations to site them.

Thanks for the suggestions. One question, which may sound stupid - how to the stickers work? It seems that those who have the word "Karmann" under their spoilers or on glass don’t have the rectangle around the letters. The stickers I have have a backing, and the lettering feels raised. I take it that the backing peels off, you stick the thing to your car, and peel the carrier plastic off leaving the letters in place. Is this correct?
I put the Karmann stickers on the fixed side glass on both sides of the car. It looks pretty good there. I haven't done anything with the badges yet.
HI,
thanks all. I'm going to put the badges down by the door and back wheel like VALKRYDERGUY and others have done. If nothing else, it maintains a level of consistency across a number of cars I have seen with them on. If Karmann were going to badge the cars, they would be in the same place across the range.
I'm not going to put the decals under the spoiler. Who's going to see that at speeds of under 602mph?!? I'm not in the habit of parking with it up (I feel it would invite the chavs to do damage). I'm planning on putting them on the back windows. I've seen pictures of them there, and I think they look quite good and discrete. The car being a dark grey would not show them up anywhere else. Discrete being the key word here - I'm not a shouty "look at my car - it's got a big engine" person - but I think it's nice to hint at what's there. The Karmann badges will do this well.
I'll do this when I have taken the cover off. At the moment, the sun is baking down, and the cover stays on until I need the car. Which will be tomorrow in readiness for a weekend trip.
Thanks all for the suggestions!

Badges and transfers applied. Badges where VALKRYDERGUY and others have put them. The "Karmann" transfers are on the back side windows in the black area, where they stand out rather well. The adhesive is very sticky - no chance of correcting a ****-up.
Pictures may appear later. Amanda has videoed me putting them on. If we are truly unlucky, that will end up on YouTube. I bought a couple of Flip video cameras before our holiday, and I made the mistake of giving her hers before I got to work on the car…
