CF:UK Logo?
Hi,
One thing Ken asked me to think about was a logo. So, after some thinking, here goes.
The 3D car is not finished yet (there are some texture eccentricities which need sorting out). The CF:UK part can be the logo in it’s own right, so you can safely ignore the car if you don’t like it.

Paul...It looks fine... lets see what the other regular UK guys think.
My thoughts are we need a logo and lettering that makes more of a statement...this looks a little prissy to me...Could we not use the sleek crossfire logo outline of the car, as shown on FP's T-shirt at the last meet. and used a lot on the forum, we should check and ask premission if this route is chosen.
Xfire lettering, there are so many options...Steve-UK has a printed list and if posted, the regulars UK owners who have attended the meet's could choose one each and the most voted for will then be used.
Above is not written is stone...just my thoughts...Lets have yours and sort our logo etc ASAP..
Ken.
PS Jane thinks it make's a statement is bold and show's the UK flag and does not agree UKken comments..

Hi guys, we have started the process of legalizing the Crossfire International Car Club. As I discussed with some of you during my UK trip, it would be nice for you to be part of XFi as it is an international club. Please consider this while working on the UK membership. It can be XFi-UK as an example.
We will have much more pull together than separate clubs.
Thanks

Ok - tru these, with XIf variants. I was thinking that the badge/logo could be produced as badges to fix to cars - similar to other 3rd party badges.
I traced the XFi logo, so it may not be as accurate in larger forms. If we use this, I’d need an eps or Illustrator file to use.

Only just picked up on this thread so need to give the choice some thought, but if we are looking for someone to produce the badges for the cars, I know the guy who runs this outfit and the quality of his 3D graphics for cars is superb...

Any mention of XFi will clearly indicate affiliation with FP’s club - I suggest that we decide if this is what is needed before going too far. Will the UK/GB outfit be independent, or part of the XFi collective?

I have a PDF from FP - and I have a slightly better version of this one. I won’t post it as at screen resolutions, you won’t see a difference.

What we do here in the UK will only happen with the support of all concerned, but I do feel that an affiliation with XFi will be of be of long term benefit for varios important reasons. I hope in the next few days to table a proposal which will satisfy everyones wishes in forming our UK club.
Cheers for now,
Steve
