It sounds like a version of Photoshop Elements to me - the full version doesn’t have this feature (amanda has Elements 6 and that doesn’t seem to do calendars). I think you would have to send them off and get a number printed. I suggest using a Print on Demand system like LuLu which prints as orders come through, rather than someone here having to buy in stock and hope they can sell them on.

Stop Press !! Late entry, 2 pictures added of Ian Kiirby's SRT. Let me know if you want to swap any votes so far cast. Also feels like we should have an SRT on the calendar if possible.

Paul..I'm happy to swap No 51 for one of the SRT pictures, your choice which...Perhaps this will encourage Ian to attend a meet!

I've adjusted the Flickr site to have the top votes only, at the moment there are 15 tying for the top places. There are 13 sitting 1 point outside this group, so now is your chance to influence the result.

Hi All...Don't lets get to excited yet. If the quiality of the submited picture's are not acceptial to LuLu to enlarge..then no calendar!

Cheerful

more votes coming in !! Lets close the voting end of Friday ( I am out next two nights anyway ) and I will catch up Saturday morning. Count up and see where we are.

Also looking at image quality. I have now published the astronomy calendar ( WPAOG) and managed to get that one up and all seemed to work OK. Learned a few things so should be Ok for the xfire one.

We are not there yet but hope to wrap up this weekend and fingers crossed publish !!

cheers

It’s possible that the photos are of a lower size than those that came out of the camera. I sent Paul the full size images, but if anyone sent a smaller image for preview purposes, you’ll need to dig out the full size version if yours are selected.

Good point from Paul, if anyone who has a picture in the "votes so far" section can send me the best quality version this will save time publishing.

If you need any technical help then PM me with a suitable time to call you over the weekend and I will contact you.

cheers

Paul

I am now sorting out the pictures for the calendar. Top vote was for this one from ZeroZero

In the top votes, we have 6 images of sufficient quality and 15 ( including the one above ) of "low" quality. There are various layout options including 3 pictures per page etc. Even with 3 on a page the image quality for some isn't enough. I have contacted those that have submitted pictures like this to hopefully get better ones. Depends on how that goes depends on how many pictures I actually need. We may need to sacrifice some in the top votes for ones of better image quality.

2 Things need to be agreed. That anyone who appears in any of the photographs is happy to be published, secondly are you happy for your car registration to appear. If not, then the photos can be altered.

Maybe best to PM or e-mail me.

cheers

Paul

Hi everyone, I am nearly there. I have a good selection of hi res versions of pictures now. There are a couple it would be nice to have , but even without those I think it looks good ( for a first attempt anyway ! ). There is one group shot which I am looking for everyone on the picture to let me know they are happy to be on it

http://www.flickr.com/photos/8238800...7609763714747/

It will share space with two others, so won't be full size on the calendar.

One question though, what shall we call the calendar ? I have put a placement name of "UK Crossfires". Any more imaginative suggestions ?

You will need to be quick, as soon as I get the remaining bits detailed above I'm pressing the "publish" button.

cheers

Paul

It arrived today - it looks really good. The quality of print from Lulu is very reassuring - I’ll file it for future reference. There may be some projects that I can use them for.
