Local Xfire Meet...south Coast
There are quite a few xfire owners within easy driving distance of the New Forest.
What I'm suggesting is a local xfire meet during May. A cruise around the forest..a pub lunch, and perhaps taking a few xfire pictures ready for the 2010 calender...And away home late afternoon.
If interested..suggest available weekend date's that your free and we can do a count and take it from there.

Hi,
May looks pretty free ATM. I can’t do the 23rd though, so that weekend is out. I am showing Belgians around London that weekend, apparently.
I live in fear of the “you’ll have to work weekends” speech that a certain numpty I work for delivers every so often.

Well, thats five so far..Lets wait another week and see if others are interested in a southern meet and then confirm a weekend date.
The idea of localised xfire meets up and down the country is something that could easly catch on. It would certainly bring out a few xfire owners that perfer not to drive long distances to the ususl two monthly meets.
Any thought, comments?
Cheers

Please count me in as a possible Ken, subject to date. May looks pretty booked for me at the mo, with drag racing hopefully taking up part of both bank holiday weekends. Also, the weekend of 9/10 May is out for me.
Hi..Any more crossfire owners for the May meet on the sunny South Coast?
Lots of verious priced accommation available in and around the New Forest aera if you want to stay over.
I will suggest a few meeting date's in the next couple of days.

The South Coast meet during May..Waiting on fiirm dates from a few interested xfire owners ( it depends on the date) if I will attend..
As far as what to visit on the South Coast, its really down to those attending. The New Forest has plenty to offer.... or how about we visit Nelsons Flag Ship, the Victory at Portsmourh......or the Sammy Miller Motor Cycle Collection......or Fort Nelson's and its armoury, plus an interesting walk around the ramparts of the entire fort..entrance is F.O.C..and there are plenty of other options available locally.
Lots see on a one day visit or more to see if you plan to stay over...your choose.
And lastly. The Crossfire Cruise..I have planned an interesting route, with views of Portsmouth Habour and the Spinnker Tower form a real high vantage point.
A xfire meet not to be missed!

Currently I have eight down for the South Coast Meet..30/31 May. Please confirm if you are still planing to attend this meet.
Would you also confirm if your planing a one day visit or staying over the Saturday night and also if you are bring a partner.
Once aware of the above details I will have a much clearer idea of how to plan the weekend and suggest local acommodation.
Cheers
