Guess what, by pure chance we went to Hylands Park (this is where the V Festival happens), and we found that there was a large car show - lost of old cars, as well as more modern models, and some big American brutes. I really didn’t know it was on until we got there, though given the recent madness here, time for one’s self has been very scarce so I may have noted it mentally and forgotten.

Anyway, I have a leaflet and I’ll drop the email address on it a note to see if there is one planned for next year, and if Crossfires are welcome. I’m not sure if it’s an Essex only event, or if others from further afield can attend. I think it was free to register a car too, and there were clubs as well as individuals showing.

 

Judging from the local paper, this was a one off - replacing a planned banquet. Probably more local people got to enjoy the day out, good weather and lots of cars. Maybe there will be another arranged for next year.
