Default Thinking of selling

Thinking of selling my Crossfire.
It's a 2004 black auto with 21,000 miles on it.
It is immaculate, the wheels are perfect with nearly new tyres and full service history.
I was thinking £8000 but not sure is that is to expensive.

I also have a brand new rear wheel, a nearly new front wheel fitted with a brand new tyre and a brand new set of SRT6 luggage.
How much do you think I could get for these?

If your wondering why I'm selling after 5 years it's because I've split up with my girlfriend and moved out so looking to buy a new house and it will be further away from my work so the petrol costs are going to be really expensive along with everything else.

Cheers.

Norrie.

I'm after SRT-6 luggage - can you give me an idea of the price you're looking for? Cheers. And 8k seems a good price for a nice car!!

8k sounds about right for the miles and the year, but its a funny market at the mo. You might need to drop the numbers a little to compete with others.

Good luck Norie. Sorry you are leaving the gang after 5 years.

Yeah I'm willing to drop the price slightly but not to much.
The thing is there are some for sale for £6000 but they have got hight mileage and I know from looking at used cars myself that most of them are all car park dings and scrapes etc.
There is not one ding in the side of my car and the only marks on it are some small stone chips which have been touched up.
The problem is getting someone to see the car because I think once someone sees it they will buy it.

As for the luggage I'm not sure what to ask for.
It is brand new with the tags still on it.
Make me an offer.

Norrie.
I'm having a similar thought process, I saw this one Elite Car Co. : Crossfire 3.2 V6 COUPE - Manual + Low mleage which is sold as having 'low mileage and then there's this one Lilly and Constable : Chrysler Crossfire 3.2 V6 Manual Coupe which seems 'optimistic' but I really don't know anymore

I'm half tempted to wait a few months 'til the weather starts getting better and people are looking for a fun spring time/summer ride.... or would the price have dropped more by then?

Anywho - good luck, and it'd be interesting (especially for me lol!) if you could say what you managed to get for it in the end (advertised price is one thing ACTUAL price achieved is something totally different!!)

Car is now on Autotrader.
If you know anyone looking for a Crossfire you wont get one in better condition than mine as it's immaculate.

Good luck dude - I'm starting to get a little despondant as the price of these lovely cars seems to be dropping by the day

I'm priced at 7,690 and have only had one query so 8 may be a little high?

Don't be miss led by dealer prices - we know the advertised price means little. Also, buyers expect that private sellers are going to be at least 20% less than the dealers. Rather than take a hit, Its probably cheaper to keep the xfire in storage for the future, and buy a nice little run around for a £1000.

If I don't get what I'm looking for I will just keep it as the main reason I'm selling is for better MPG but if I have to drop it by say £1000 I will just use that money for fuel.

Sold the car today.
I had it advertised at £8490 but the tax was due so let it go for £8400 which I think is pretty good.
I feel the car was worth more than that but the market dictates the value and I had it priced high compared to all the other ones.
It just goes to show though if you have confidence in your car and it is a good car you should get the money for it.

I will miss the Crossfire but I have just been along to order my new car a braqnd new Mini in white.
