Default Selling

Well the time has come (a LOT sooner than I anticipated) to sell my Crossfire. Still love her however the other half is far from convinced and so it'll be cheaper to replace the Crossfire (just!! )

Details:

Age - 2003/53
Mileage - 20,500
Colour - Silver Blue
Owners - 3 (I am the third)
Mods - non (except for Alpine hands-free stereo, original to come with the car)
T&T until July

Everything works and actually is faultless

No tears/rips/rust/holes in carpet etc - all in all a VERY nice carand one I'll be sad to see go

Looking for £7,990ono

Based in Essex

Try contacting Wheeler Dealers/ Autotader guys-

They'd have a blast with that car. Bog profit margin if they "hook it Up' a bit.

Great looking car at a great price but I have two issues.

The car is on the wrong side of the Pond and the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.

Are you Brits ever gonna get that fixed?

roadster with a stick

BTW, sorry you must give up your ride but, hey, stay with the group. Your posts are a hoot!

You spent ages looking for a Crossfire, regularly posted your progress about your search on here, you finally get one, and sell it!

They are virtually impossible to sell at the moment but you can get still a good p/x deal, I was tempted by the Dodge Journey at one point.

My wife will not drive the Xfire and she is not keen on it at all, so I found the only solution was to buy her a new car. Now all is well in the world

Those pictures look like they were taken in or Frinton - that looks like the Walton pier in the background.

It will cost billions. Not only will we have to replace all the road signs, re-educate drivers, but we’d also have to rebuild the slip roads (on ramps) for motorways, re build the non-symmetrical junctions.

Here is a short analysis of the job:

I know the area fairly well. I’m in Chelmsford, and we usually end up in Walton a few times over in the summer. It’s a good drive to do, and I find it relaxing without being too isolated.

seeing as it's about 4 years too early I'm not 100% sure - funnily enough I saw my old IROC-Z for sale on e-bay (sold it about 10 years ago!) but will not go bacl.... am being severely tempted by a 1999 Z-28 (LS1 with a couple of minor mods) but nothing concrete yet. Advantage of the Z is it may also free up a few pounds for some home improvements

I always thought having a Crossfire parked in the driveway was a home improvement.

well I've done all I can at the moment - the price is obviously open to (some!!!!) negotiation but from what I have seen I'm one of the lowest mileage ones out there at a medium price.... fingers crossed that some-one else will soon be able to enjoy it

Stupid people REALLY p*** me off!!!

Just had an offer on the XF.... FOR £6,200!!!!!!! WTF??? Some clown wants to try and offer me over 20% under the asking price (which going by other Crossfires is already not a bad price)... I kow everyone is after a bargain but surely a little bit of common sense has to apply???

Hey theres nothing wrong with a guy making an offer - after all, you spent ages looking for a bargain and this guy is only doing the same. I see some cars are being sold at silly low prices but they tend to have high miles. I think the sports car market will pick after Easter.
Good luck with the sale
