in fairness Steve I've got no issues with making an oofer - it's just the level of the offer even 10% offered wouldn't have riled me... mind you it was also a little stressful at work lol

Did the person actually come and look at the car and make the offer face to face? I briefly advertised mine on Ebay at the end of last year and I was getting people emailing offers without even seeing the car! Most of the offers were completely crazy!!

Good point there Andyd.... my previous experience of selling on fleabay was a very positive one - the Lightning went on there and 2 weeks later it had been sold at 5% under the offered price... guy flew out from Germany to buy a perfect transaction

lol shipping is about $1000 then there's insurance (IIRC about 0.5%) and whatever taxes the state deems appropriate and then exchange rates are up and down (currently I think that mind would run you about U$11.5/12), then a loooong wait to get your hands on your new toy (I was considering importing an SS, WS6 or even, cough, a New Edge Mustang)
