Just bought a '54 Xfire...
I must have looked at every Crossfire in the north of England and I've settled on the cleanest one I could find; a '54 silver / blue Auto in mint condition inside and out. There's a small 1cm scratch next to the gear stick inside and all four wheels could do with a spruce up but apart from that, it's spotless.
I have always loved the styling and can now afford to scratch the itch.. in choosing one, I also test drove a Boxster S and some TT's; most notable the 3.2 V6 TT with DSG. The Porsche was the most potent handler and the DSG gearbox of the TT was, frankly, amazing. While the Boxster and TT would probably have been more sound investments in terms of resale value and the like, I just couldn't resist the Crossfire - added to that, I'm a Mercedes fan
Well, I will likely post here now that I own one and maybe see some of you around
BTW, Does anyone know of a great place for wheel refurbs, preferably in the north of England / Manchester are if poss'?

I am just now reading the other threads in the main Coupe section - picking up tips on care and what to look out for. Great site and nice to see so many other Crossfire fans online
