Default Some Good News from Essex

Amanda is expecting - we got the news last week, and the doctor confirmed it yesterday. We’ll be parents by the end of the year. To say we are happy is a bit of an understatement.

I am under instructions to keep the car and continue going to the meets next year. YOu will have to forgive me if I can’t get to the Christmas do this year - I’ll be playing the end of the year very much by ear despite Amanda’s insistence that I go.

Onwards, and upwards. Now, can I get an extra seat in a Crossfire?

If your new child ever gets croup and you can only alleviate the cough by sleeping in the car outside in the cold air, I hope you have another car in which you can lower the seat back to sleep. I did, but never slept well but my boy slept like a log all night. Congrat's.

Hi all,
thanks for the messages! It’s an exciting time, with a few jitters thrown in as we realise that thing will change for ever.

We have two cars - the Crossfire and a Zafira - which is eminently more sensible, despite it looking hideous.

I don’t plan on losing the Crossfire yet - I’m under instructions to continue with the meets etc..

This Christmas will be different - very different, as will every single one from now on…

My wife Amanda gave birth to our daughter 14 years ago and each day since has been a revelation.

Consider all the advice you can get from every one who seems to know best and then forget it!!!!

Congratulations - my little one will be doing A levels soon, thats scary how fast things have gone.
