Any more information?
Sorry to nag you, but I have a friend interested in the car - is it an auto or manual, does it have any service history, how many owners, does it have any extras like a luggage cover - is it taxed or MOT'd
Hi,
it's auto, tax has just ran out , mot till april, 1 owner (me) from new, has always been serviced, the reason the car has such low milage is due to the fact that i had a number of cars and it was only ever used at weekends and then not every weekend, (used to have Esprite S4 in mint condition which i also loved) i sold all my other cars when moving to Cyprus but kept Crossfire with the intention of using on my trips back to U.K. (100-300 miles each time) i would love to bring it to Cyprus but they want £ 8,500 import tax so its mad, she is a great car and a great bargain for someone, i will be sad to see her go,

Just spent the weekend working on the new addition - working out side in frozen snow is not ideal but hey - ho its got to done! Various trim parts have been transferred including Startech exhaust, wheels, drilled disks, grills etc. I had a chance to get under the car on Sat when I steam cleaned underneath and in the wheel arches etc, and found it to be virtually as new underneath, befitting the mileage of 16K. I have to wait now for some dry weather to sort a few small paint chips, one on passenger door panel, drivers door edge, boot lid and lower front bumper. Pic's to follow!
The blue Crossfire has been returned to standard trim, except for the chrome side strakes which I have left in place. The standard wheels are back on and with new wheel centres looks smart; it will sadly pass to its new lady owner next weekend!

........& the new lady owner will be very delighted to take delivery Steve
......weather permitting travel from Sevenoaks of course!

I know she's a great car isn't she Ken....just hope I will be able to look after her as well as Steve has. Hopefully I'll have some help from a chap across the road who does professional valeting etc.
I'll also be looking at all the helpful tips that members have posted in the various forum threads.
Hope to see you at a future meet, but not sure I'll be able to make the one in Jan, due to other committments.
Cheers

Just looking at one or two photo's - this one is outside the Crown Plaza Hotel when Andrea and I met up with our great friend Gary Wemple and his wife who was visiting from the USA. Gary is the President of the Crossfire International Car Club and we gave him the chance to sit in a Crossfire with the streering wheel on the right side ! lol

I've had two of these fantastic cars, both Coupe & Roadster..would love the Roadster even more..if it had the Coupe boot space!...Jane is not known for travelling light!
You will enjoy the Xfire group meets, great fun and informal..plus Steve UK has arranged some great locations for 2011.
UKKen.

Looking forward to meeting you one day. I will try to get to some of the XF group meets, but maybe not the January one.

& as I really couldn't stretch to an Aston, this was the next best car for me. I saw a Crossfire coupe years ago & have lusted after one ever since. I hope the boot will be large enough though as [ like Jane] I don't travel light either!

If intrested I will PM the methods I used, on both Coupe and Roadster.
UKKen..
Thanks Ken, I'll remember that. However I think that most of the time the passenger seat will be free, so I can always use that.....unless the cat comes with me of course. She likes travelling!
