MK Classic Car Tour
[quote=Chrispy]Hi everyone.
I don't have a Crossfire but thought I would sign up to make a couple of apologies...
1) On behalf of my mate Russ, whose BMW 1502 inadvertently let off a massive backfire when he was passing a Crossfire on the ski jump coming down loop 3 at Millbrook. I was following behind and it was quite possibly the most hilarously timed thing I've seen in my life.
2) To the Crossfires that were following us after Millbrook, and we ended up going the wrong way a couple of times. You didn't look particularly amused!
Hi Chrispy
No apologies needed...I'm sure we all had a fantastic day irrespective of whatever car you entered. Maybe one of the xfire drivers will recall the mentioned backfire and retale the event.
Re the unamused xfires following you. Was one of them driving a black roadster with the top down? Grey hair, beard, and passed his sell by date? He is known to be a grumpy bugger at time's..but his a soft touch for a pint of beer at the pub, so we tolerate the old chap..
Good to hear from you.

Hi Chrispy
No worries, we had great fun following and getting lost was all part of it! I don't know which Crossfire got the big Backfire from the BMW but Im sure it was taken in good hummer. At times we had 3 Ferraris, an Aston and others following us, and yes, we took wrong turns as well! The route was a bit vague at times, and it was the blind leading the blind!
At least next year we will be better prepared and hope to see you all again then for a re match
All the best!
Steve
