Canal Boat Trip & Lunch Meet...July 10th
Have heard some good reports about this event/location for club meets from my local car club.
Looking forward to it, and trying the local beer in the Boat Inn...I hear the restaurant food is also good
See you there

Good day out, nice to see some old faces and meet some new, thanks steve for organising a good lunch and a somewhat dark canal boat trip

Hey thanks for that, glad you enjoyed the day and you found your sea legs for the cruise! I knew that tunnel was long but didn't realise it was over a mile before we saw daylight! Hope you had a good run home and the new SRT went well! Hope you will bring both Crossfires next time!
Thanks for a very pleasant day Steve. Lunch was great [veggie option was perfect] & the real ale wasn't half bad either!
It was lovely to meet you all & to put some faces to the names at last. That tunnel was a long one tho' wasn't it? [now I know what it must be like to be a mole] & I shall never hear 'Another Brick in the Wall' again without thinking of it !
Good to see so many Crossfires together & all gleaming beautifully in the sun - everyone must have been very busy with the polish this week.
Bit of a slow trip home down the M1 due to the Grand Prix traffic, but was able to put my foot down once we hit the M25. [made a nice change!]
Hope to make it to another meet in the not too distant future. Thanks again for a really enjoyable day.

Hi Di, glad you enjoyed the day, yes that tunnel was long, I'm just glad the boat didn't break down half way through!!!
It was great to see you and everyone - and to see my (mm sorry, your) car again, looking great, Id forgotten what a beauty she is
It was busy on M1 north as well but like you, I got going once I'd got up the road. Hope to see at another meet sometime!
