Running/Repair costs.
Hi, still looking at crossfires, any advice on running and repair costs...........do you find there are any common mechanical problems and being mercedes based are spares expensive.
p.s. how does the engine and gearbox hold up to high milage?
Thanks,
Rob.

think being mercedes they are pretty much bullitproof as long as the oil is changed at regular intervals as for high milage heard of some stateside with 150000 plus but as i`ve only got 15000 on mine cant talk from experiance....chris
got one with 112,000 miles and a SRT6 with nearly 70,000
both still run like new
Chrysler parts are very expensive but generally there is a Merc alternative that is usually 30% cheaper and for some parts you can get motorfactor parts a lot cheaper.
an example.... water pump standard Crossfire, Chrysler price £280, Merc £189, motorfactor £98
