Re: UK Crossifires Meet Programme 2012 - Attendance Lists
Hi 11Feb & others,
Times based on previous meets, we leave the Premier Inn about 8.45 appox and travel in convoy to CC which is a short distance away.
We have a new xfire owner attending ( GrantB ) from down my neck of the woods, and staying over, so his first pint is on me!
See you all on the day.

Re: UK Crossfires Meet Programme 2012 - Attendance Lists
Note following meet dates and locations.
]UK Crossifires Meet Programme 2012
22 July Sandringham House and Museum 11.00
Sandringham House was opened to the public in the Silver Jubilee year of 1977. There is so much to see and do at Sandringham; recommend at least 4 hours to get the most out of our time here. The Museum houses extraordinary collections of Royal vehicles. There is free car parking, and this is where you will find the Restaurant, Gift Shop and Plant Centre. This is also the starting point for the very popular tractor and trailer tours, these take passengers around parts of the Estate not normally open.
5 Aug Brooklands Museum Meet at MB World car park 10.00am
The annual aircraft and Napier Railton engine start ups, and the aero-auto jumble returns to Brooklands. So much to see at this major Brooklands event. UK Crossfires will once again have its own designated parking display area within the Museum site at the Jackson Sheds. Bring the cleaning kit!
26 & 27 Aug Wings & Wheels Dunsfold
Times and further instructions to follow.
This is a major event held at Dunsfold Park (also home to BBC's Top Gear). Wings & Wheels is firmly established as one of the UK's most popular and unique family days out. The show takes place over two days with an exceptional host of air and motoring entertainment unrivalled by any other show. In the Static Vehicle Exhibition clubs come to display their members vehicles in the arena. UK Crossfires will have its own designated parking area.
16th Sep Imperial War Museum Duxford 11.00am
Duxford is set on the famous 1st and 2nd World War Airfield and has become home to some of the most iconic aircraft in the world. There are many exhibitions and interactive displays as well as a massive collection of tanks, military vehicles and boats. A lunch can be taken in the main restaurant.
13 Oct Santa Pod “Run What You Brung” Further instructions to follow.
“Run What You Brung” or just spectate. Plenty of action through the day on the quarter mile drag strip with cars of all varieties taking part. For a small entry fee you can stretch the legs of your car to see what it can do! Last year the Crossfires made their presence known with some impressive runs! But if you prefer, grab a burger and join us in the stands to watch the action from a comfortable distance! One thing is for sure, plenty of muscle cars of all makes and sizes, pushed to the limit!
1 & 2 Dec Winter Warmer Weekend at Buford
The Golden Pheasant and The Windmill Carvery have made us very welcome and looked after us very well for two years now. We will return again this year, those arriving on the Saturday to stay at the Pheasant having an evening meal at 8pm, and on the Sunday, the Carvery lunch at 1pm.[/QUOTE]

Re: UK Crossfires Meet Programme 2012 - Attendance Lists
I plan attending the following meets, all with Jane or Son Gareth
August 5th Brooklands Museum. Have been before , an interesting meet with lots to see and do..
September 16th Imperial War Museum Duxford. Looking forward to my first visit.
December 1 & 2 Golden Pheasent and Windmill Carvery. Always a good weekend pre Christmas meet. Suggest booking Golden Pheasent early..fills very quickly during December
Depending on the weather, perhaps we could arrange a November Meet?
