Default Insurance - happy days!

Welll did the usual B/S with insurance for the XF and was prepared to pay (Admiral of all companies!!!) £380 p.a. - turns out I'd managed to put in my name incorrectly on-line (all other details the same) so when they put my full name in the premium dropped to £287 p.a..... all for the sake of a quick phone call - happy days!!!

Admiral also seems to be coming up the cheapest for me. Does any one know if their multicar policy includes pick ups. Aviva's does.

well done...i had a result as well, last year went with aviva at £268 due to 3 months free...was expecting a hike in price this year, renewal came in at £278 and if i paid within 7 days £20 discount and £20 M & S voucher which er indoors was pleased about, so in reality £238...happy days.....

Our cars are due in April, so got to start shopping round.
Currently with Admiral multicar but wont go back with them even if they come out cheapest, had more heart ache with them , phone call after phone call because they cant get things right at their end, wrong car details or wrong name/address details, policy was more than they quoted on the phone, they went back through recorded calls I had made and said I was right but I got NO appology or reduced premium . Every time I have made a change to my policy they bang another £18 on top for admin charges , so all in all not been cheap for having a multicar policy, I could go on and on, sorry.

Well, recieved renewals from Admiral today for 3 cars on a multicar policy, my son moved out in september last year and he is still included on the renewal even with his new address, I thought multicars policies were in 1 household.
Best is, I recieved 2 letters from them.
1 containing all the relivant paperwork including new certificates, "TWICE" so 2 lots of paperwork in that envelope and another lot of paperwork in the other friggin envelope.

9 yes 9 certificates for 3 cars.

What did I say in my last post about them not getting things right.

Time to start shopping round now.

Rant over
