Why does this thread keep being dumped at the bottom of the list when we're trying to organise some thing for in a few days time ???

hi grant...cant make sunday unfortunatley but am interested in meeting up for mini meets, castle coombe is on saturday 30th june will have a chat with you at castle coombe....chris...i live in sandhurst berkshire by the way but dont mind a drive out somewhere....

Question .. at C Coombe, I understand we have an on show site parking area..... lots of polishing to do I presume then ??
and do we stay on site for the duration Sat & Sun ? or is it a ONE day event ?
is there anything organised for a get together/meal after each day...
All seams a little vaigue, or I'm not finding the right info ?

Castle Combe is a one day event on Sat 30th June.
A few owners, myself included are booked into the Chippingham Primier Inn on the friday night, and travaling to CC the followingt moring. We can discus other Xfire related points on the day.
I suggest you arrive fairly early for Castle Comble, as the local roads get very busy from 9am onwards.
See you Sunday 24...looking forward to it.

GrantB, Thanks for arranging today venue. It was good to touch base with you.
Lovely sunny day for the mini meet in the new Forest. Just GrantB ,UKken and son Gareth turned out. The Queens Head Pub was a good meet location.. After lunch and a beer we took a few picture's of the two Xfires parked together, Grant B will be posting them.
Only a week until Castle Combe meet, looking forward to it.

A sat nav will put you right outside the door on the Village Green outside the pub.
The pub had a good web site with a map to locate if you need, but quite simply.... the village is only 300m long and the pub is in the very centre..... opposite another pub !!!
The food is good and and good interior seating if rotten weather with a decent sized car park.
I don't know if there is a local XF group - if not, lets make one and pool knowledge of these machines and maybe have a Monthly-Meet-Up, Drive-Outs or Fun Events. ???
I'm happy to keep a register of phone numbers and contact details & create a mini web site for us if there is interest in a local group.
Maybe also do a meet-up en-route to Castle Coombe to convoy there....
Im hoping to make it to Castle Coombe at the end of the month and understand its only a Sunday.... but hope its on Saturday too... any body know either way ?

bummer - got up a little late on Sunday, no biggie to be honest but as I got downstairs the heavens opened and all of a sudden a 2 hour drive didn't seem that appealing 
Wouldn't you know it the rest of the day was freakin' perfect. Oh well, did get a fair bit done locally (looking at houses) so not all was lost lol

Hi guys the weather put me off too and i also had a late session with some friends as it was a couples evening, we walked home in the rain! Hopefully i'll be able to make another meet, unfortunately no CC but look forward meeting any local XF owners as i see so few around these parts!
