Which type do you use?

Have you gone for one of the security types or bog standard slip the disc in a plastic wallet or something that looks like it has a locking device.

Has anyone had a tax disc stolen?

 

Really?....I'm sorry, I have no idea what you mean by " tax disc holder ".

I am also interested what others use for a tax disc holder on a roadster for a bit of security (if only from the wind) having recently changed from years of owning a coupe, I had a nice ally twist and loc one in there & this would be fine from the wind on mine with the top down but the 3 little sticky dots that held it to the screen would not have put up much of a fight..... infact thinking about it a nice expensive tax disc holder in a roadster may be an added insentive for someone to steal it? so maybe its back to a basic one again with a crossfire image on it.

 

They do these type Steve and there are several different styles to choose from, there a bit boring though

 

Do tax discs get stollen these days? they are of no use to anyone. I use the magnetic ring type in all my cars.

 

Do what bikers do and place a bit of sellotape over the vehicle specific details. So that if someone tries to reuse it tears the surface making it useless.

 

but does that stop them being stolen?

 

In all the time I was biking no one I knew had one stolen. And they are lot easier to steal from a motorcycle than they are from a car.
