Default supercharger rebuilds

Don't know if this applies to the srt6, but do their superchargers need regular rebuilds, just that a friend of mine used to have a supercharged golf g60 and it specified rebuilds every 10,000 miles!
cheers,
Rob.

Mine has now done nearly 90K miles, never had a rebuild! only problem was the pulley at 70K so spose the answer to your question is, No!!

reliable cars these srt-6s. only small problems may occur. rcm, dampers, seat heater, bad pulley bearings.. guess that is all. other than that, clockwork.

I've seen a 200K mile supercharger (from the SRT6) still running strong without a drop of fluid in it. Also, I've encountered a couple others with very high miles and no fluid, but they were still working well. They are very stout.

Remove the allen head bolt on the front of the supercharger and suck out the fluid with a syringe and tube. Refill until it drips out the hole left by the bolt.

Edit: Oops, I missed the sarcasm until now. My bad.
