Nice auto for sale...?
Anyone looking for a nice well-priced below-average mileage NA auto might have dismissed this one 'cos of its location:
2006 Chrysler Crossfire Auto Coupe, 3.2cc,Metallic Blue, very low miles 45500 | eBay
This is not a shameless plug (it's not my car - honest!) but it's very close to me so, if anyone wants it checked out, I'd be happy to take a look (any excuse for a nosey!
)
Be a shame to miss out on a good one because of where it is.
It's been re-listed several times - price reduced slightly each time - if it's as good as it seems, it could be a great deal.

I'll call tomorrow...
OK, I've now seen this car - actually, glad of an excuse to give it a run, the owner very obligingly brought it round to me!
He's an enthusiast who has consulted this forum in the past - he bought it as replacement for his beloved special edition SLK320 which got rear-ended and written off last year. A change of family circumstances has brought about the sale.
Well, I reckon it's a cracker - very clean & tidy inside and out, only a couple of very tiny marks to the body, virtually unmarked wheels, good tyres, plenty of tax & MOT, 3 careful owners, FSH. Has the usual small patch of rust by the boot latch (certainly not the worst I've seen) and a little peeling paint on one of the wiper arms but otherwise an obviously very well looked-after example.
Without wishing to spoil his chances at auction, I reckon an offer of £4.5k would buy it which would be a bit of a bargain because, for its age, mileage and condition, it should easily be worth a good deal more than the opening bid price.
If I didn't already have the SRT, I'd be straight in there - a really lovely car!
yeah! not exactly " very low mileage" as stated but it's below average! and 45k to these engines is nothing really.
Compare with:
Chrysler Crossfire 3.2 V6 2DR AUTO - F/S/H - LEATHER - SUPERB 2006
which also looks a good deal but it makes the Scottish one look a bit of a bargain.
But hey, it's not mine so no axe to grind - it's just that having had a good look at it, I thought it was worth mentioning.
got to be honest I thought that this didn't sound too bad on the value front - again prices seem to be all over the place
2006 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 3.2 V6 2DR AUTO | eBay
oops - then I just noticed cat-D... all is explained!
