Question Having a few problems with my Crossfire 2005 Roadster Any Advice Appreciated

Hi All

Well where do I start !
I bought my 2005 Roadster in May last year and unfortunate things have happened from the word go

I took my car to a hand carwash a couple of weeks after buying, I didn't notice at the time while I was there but a couple of days later it was pointed out I had a big chunk of paint missing off the passenger side rear bumper near the wheel arch, would anyone happen to know the paint code for Black 2005 model ? and anywhere that will do a decent paint job in the midlands area ?

Second problem to occur was my Serpentine Belt snapped, now I got this fixed back in October last year but ever since then things have started happening with my electrics, not sure if the following probems are linked or it may just be a coincidence
Airbag Warning light is permanantly on
Stereo sound started to break up intermittantly especially when using the break pedal, now don't have any sound at all
Fan Heater Blowers have a mind of their own intermittnetly blasting out air at top speed even when on low
Oh and I have a problem with lots of water in the passenger footwell too,

Any advice would be very much appreciated as I have no Idea where to start, thanks

Paint missing I think would tell me she may have been bumped and repaired. Only a dealer with the computer star system can reset the air bag light which is another indicator it may been repaired. If they unplug the airbag to get into the door it will leave a light on. You have to unplug the battery positive cable before unplugging airbags. Did you know who owned it previously or buy from a car lot? If she took a hit in the door it may letting water into the electronics that are under that floor board. Take your carpet up and you will all the electronics under there. There's your radio problem.

Hi oledoc2u,
thankyou for your advice, I'm really not sure if it has taken a knock as I bought from a car salesman, I think the rear bumper might have been replaced as it has parking sensors which I don't think are a standard feature and I can now see on closer inspection a bad paint job hence the big chunk of paint missing

as for the airbag warning light, when I first got the car it was fine no warning light on at all, but just a couple of months ago it started intermittantly flashing on and now is on permanantly, I will try and source a uk garage that can reset for me,

I can at least point a mechanic in the right areas to look to fix these issues, being a lady owner it can be difficult to trust alot of garages not to rip me off, so if I sound like I know what I'm talking about this may just make them think twice !

Hopefully I will have music back soon too, now the nice weather is coming !
