It's Gone.
Hello all.
Yes,
Sunday was a sad day for me in many ways, Definitely the best car i've ever had, But i had to sell it and run a more frugal car,
Considered keeping it as a weekend car, But i think i just couldn't justify keeping it long term for occasional use with the annual £475 Tax/ plus insurance etc.
A cracking ownership experience, The Crossfire is such an underrated car, which at times of ownership i had to defend from the Clarkson types of this world who just love knocking Crossfire's, But have never sat in one. Let alone driven one!
I'm sure many on here know what i mean,?
I'll still pop by,
Thanks to all for the help and advice i've had from the regulars on here,
Baz

Wow, a £475 tax bill each year can get old for sure. That's about what I pay for taxes on a brand new car here (and it gets slightly better each year). Sad to see you sell it.
and that £475 road tax bill has now gone up to £490!!!!
ah but then how much do you pay for insurance?
Thanks for that,
Gonna miss my Crossy, Loads of fun, But as a daily ride prob not ideal
Was forever ranting on to whoever made mistake of mentioning their "road tax" about the ever increasing Road fund license costs,
Think i always accepted the cars running costs, Hence a Main dealer snapped it up based on its service history/condition,
Just not a fan of the governments take on Crossy RFL on a 2006 car ?
If you know anyone looking for a nice clean/ reliable/Main dealer serviced Crossfire there is a nice Sapphire Silver Clearcoat one for sale at a Main dealer on the south coast at moment?
How many miles on yours now?
Crazy price,
If your buying a new car,,? Fair enough,
But on say a 2006/7 car? Mental !
