Default Getting Both doors to Unlock With One Blip of The Remote

The strange one blip for drivers door, two blips for passenger door set up has irritated me since I bought the car.

I always forget, we walk up to the car, I blip the key fob, jump in, and then see my girlfriend pulling at the passenger handle and tapping on the window, I found a mention of how to change this on an old thread yesterday, but couldn't find any mention in the handbook.

Anyway I tried what i'd seen on the thread and bingo!!

Very easy, unlock car, hold both remote buttons down together for around 10 secs and it then becomes operative both the doors and the boot lid now unlock with one blip.

How do I get the built in garage door opener that's in the car to operate? I followed directions in the Crossfire's manual. No good. Any advice? I am in Canada. TY.

Did you try to set it up with a rolling code? Might look up your door opener and see if it is that type..

Canada has a different set up method and the method to set the system up is down loadable from Home-Link. I'll look for it for you a bit later on.

Don't forget you need to have an electric garage door fitted too

This is the site to go to. Make sure you tick the Canada option, fill in car and then door opener make and model.
