Shame - you've barely had it 7 months - was it not up to expectations...?

hi crosscats,

very observant, you are correct I brought it over the Easter weekend this year, the car far exceeded my expectations, I had always liked the look of it, and it was on my list of cars to own one day, after driving the first one I realised they were pretty good, and then after driving a manual it was really good. But I have managed to have a good end of year company wise, and the accountant gave me a few pounds more than I expected so the next car on the list can now be achieved. I was not planning on going for the next car till about this time next year.

Cheers Kev.

How nice - I must admit, much as I love my SRT, if I was in the running for a Maserati with the blessing of my accountant, I'd find it hard not to change!
Glad you liked the Crossfire, even if it was a rather brief romance - shame you can't have both...!
You realise you'll now have to reveal what the 'next car' is...

You beat me to it, I was just going to say it'll be even more worrying leaving the Ferrari in Tesco's car park at the mercy of all those swinging chavmobile doors and rogue shopping trolley's

Nice - but don't overlook the earlier 3200GT - some serious low mileage bargains out there and they compare pretty well with the bigger, thirstier 4200.
But the 4200 Cambiocorsa is pretty cool...
Shame that used Gran Turismos are still too expensive - for me!
But - don't forget the one thing these beautiful exotics can't offer is the Crossfire's value-for-money and German build-quality & reliability - not that mechanical longevity will be a problem if you're just ticking boxes on your wants list every few months
Anyway, good luck and enjoy - nothing quite like a Maser V8 - I'm just jealous !

I happened to have a browse on autotrader last night and was pleasantly surprised to see that nice low mileage crossfires are holding up well if the asking prices are to be believed, especially the roadsters considering the time of year.
