Default Brake Upgrade non SRT

Im looking at improving the brake performance and was wondering on disc options.I will be fitting EBC Yellow pads as ive had them on previous cars.Ive been looking at Mercedes R170 SLK 320 AMG front discs which are 345mm diameter.Has anybody fitted these and i am looking at getting refurbished bigger calipers.Any advice on brakes is welcome thanks.

Why? If your standard brakes are in good order, they are more than enough!!!!

I'm planning on fitting a V8 with help from my local garage of 22 years. I've done projects with them on Cobras, Porsches, TVRs before. I'm a bit obsessed but its great fun!!!

Been done a couple of times in the US not an easy task, good luck
