2006 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE SRT-6 Supercharged AUTO BLUE | eBay
In my experience, he's s traight guy to deal with - has a bit of a thing about SRTs - I think he just can't resist a nice one when he sees it but can't justify keeping them all - when I bought mine, he had two virtually identical black ones!
Still got it over a year and 3500 miles later - very pleased.
I think the reason this one's been on & off is that he's been messed about by time wasters and won't haggle much - he's not afraid to set his price and stick to his guns - so don't expect a give-away bargain.
But if my experience is anything to go by, it will be a good 'un - he doesn't buy rubbish - definitely worth checking out if you're serious but don't delay.
And no, I'm not on commission!
Mate just a quick question, i know the figures say 0-60 in 6.0 secs, but are they quick standard, i would want a remap but i want the performance side of things, is the drive and handling good aswell mate, what do you think of the mileage on that one, of memory i think it is 43k

Standard they are plenty quick enough, not I lot will stay with one
wouldn't exactly say they are good handling but I wouldn't say they are bad either!!!! under fast road driving you will not have any problems, get it on track the biggest problem is under steer but its not horrendous.
My Roadster is stock and is easier to drive than my coupe which is not!!!, biggest problem is putting the power onto the road. there are plenty of mods, it all depends what you want from the car.
The car that is on ebay, I think it has finance on it so if you are interested you need to do the deal where you pay the finance company direct. 43K miles is nothing to a c32 engine, not even run in
If it is close to you, go look at it, drive it, see what you think!! You wont be disappointed
Oh! and I reckon you could buy that for 6K, bargain!!!!!

Thanks mate, i have emailed him, i am prepared to travel anywhere in the country but a long way to go if i dont like it if you know what i mean, i like the exclusivity of these but want the same performance as my mps which the figures say they are, i am thinking of these motors because they are cheap for what you get and i think it would put a smile on my face
Says it is in A1 condition and completely standard, wouldnt tell me the reserve price, got some thinking to do, dont want to bid on it and find out i dont like it, tough call, advice needed haha
What extra would i get from just a remap?

As Mo says, you need to go drive one - it will not disappoint - just don't expect the ultimate sports car experience - a 911 it is not, although being small and fairly light, handling is actually pretty good. Suspensions is hard; harder than the standard car but suits it well.
I like to think of it as more of a sporting grand tourer; for fast road use, you won't find much better - it's a serious piece of kit.
And the figures are a little better than you might have been led to believe - Chrysler agreed to down-play these so as not to undermine sales of the SLK32AMG (which is what it is under the skin), so what you actually get is 349 bhp giving 0-60 in 4.8 secs.
I understand a Eurocharged tune can boost bhp to around 370 and remove the 155mph limiter.
But - unless you're a total maniac, (and there are some on here!) or going to the drag strip regularly, you won't need to mod it - it has enough power to kill you or lose your license in stock form!
One thing I am considering though, is a Sprint Booster which doesn't make it any quicker but sharpens up the throttle response - quite useful in an auto.
See my previous post (#25) about he seller - try an offer by all means but believe me, he won't consider anything 'silly' !

These engines are solid, change plugs at 100,000 miles.
