Default A Car Wax for Great Results.

I have over many years and many cars used various makes of car wax, all promising excellent results. Since using TUTLE WAS ICE..SYNITHENTIC PAST POLOSH..I personally think its fantastic and currently the best car wax available.

Unless you know of a better wax!!

It has a true deep lasting shine and is easy to apply. But I guess Black being the best colour for the Crossfire, its bound to look great once polished.

I like Meguiars products but for true show quality look up Zaino. I have used the Turtle Wax Ice and it's OK.

Hi Wes...You know why T.W.I polish is just OK in Wyoming? its either the climate, or your Crossfire is not in the best colour which is black

Keep your foot to the floor and your eyes on the mirror..lol

Wes, I'm taking you at your word on this - ordered some yesterday.
I like any company that makes the statement that the more coats you apply, the better it looks. ( I like to wax )
Best results I have had to date was with AutoGlym, but can't find that stuff no mo

I used to have a '70 'cuda that was entered into car shows from time to time. Zaino was the wax of choice for many of the nicest looking paint jobs you would ever see. I used the Zaino and the results were better than anything else I had tried. The downside is the time investment required to properly go through all the steps to get that show winning shine. Hours......so when I moved and sold the car I haven't felt the need to use it again.
BTW, the Zaino smells great!

ICE is correct. After you polished the car it looks like you polished off the rest in a cocktail.

Hi Ken,
I have used Turtle wax std and Auto glym polishes in the past & very good they were apart from the Turtle wax needing lots of effort to remove if the sun came round onto the car before it was removed. Since then I purchaced some Adams Butterly wax when Adams brought there products to Billing Aquadrome with the PT Cruiser club, I had a black coupe at that time and was looking for a good polish to try to speed up the car but in the end I has to change it for SSB to get the real performance!!! :
P.S the Adams polishes are very good.

Hi Carl

I'm pleased we both agree about the wax.

Its a shame we don't agree about the colours . I do recall a survey being carried out on CICCI a while back regarding the best colours for the Crossfire...I had a feeling black was triumphant...I'm sure my old friend FP will have the answer

Definately +1 for Zaino. I use the Triplets...
Zaino Triplets (Z-AIO, Z-CS, Z-8 & 314): Zaino Store

And don't forget the best leather protectant around... Zaino Z-10 Leather in a Bottle

~ i use zymol 'concours' on my cars ... at $175 a can it's expensive but a container last me about 4 years (a little goes a long way)... i have been using it for the last 8 years or so ...

great stuff that actually produces a deep shine along with fantastic longevity !!!

the product comes with a serial number for each can & corresponding certificate of authenticity... for whatever that's worth.

as for upkeep... i wax my cars every 3 months or so... and use the 'V07 - chem guys' enhancement detailer spray after every washing with micro-fiber towels... and clay once a year.
