Default P6ssed off...

After waiting patiently for an SRT6 at a sensible price to come along and watching here, autotrader and fleabay every other day at least, I start a new job last Monday, have to be up at 4am so early night Sunday and bloody miss one.
Wouldn't have been so bad but I now work away Mon to Fri and as first week didn't bother going online ! Lesson learned - SRT6 for sale = Hen's Teeth !
If anyone see's one please text in case I miss it - Jake 07879665573.

Thanks J

Think he's in England. Must be scarcer across the pond than here.

You are correct, I missed the origin. Could always have one shipped but then would be LHD and no MOT. Also from watching Wheeler Dealers, they seem to have a lot of rust there so another reason to buy here.

Yeah, just don't buy one from the North West. I watched The Killing on TV, it never stopped raining in Seattle when that was filmed.

Thanks guys, yeah I am across the pond and at the last count there were around 90 SRT6's registered over here so rarer than rocking horse sh6t ! I did consider import but the cost is too much really with tax and roro on a ship. Dad works on a us base so maybe you could send one over in a C130 or C17 ? Dunno if the air force would notice ?
Cheers anyway folks !

Actually the PNW away from the coast is a great place to find pristine cars with no sun damage and intact rubber. That part of the country has a lot of cloud cover and a very mild climate.

Maximum of 118 RHD SRT6s originally registered in UK (2009) - approx 1/3 'verts, 2/3 coupes.
Some sold quite a long time after build date as they were poor sellers - too expensive?

Currently 105 known to exist so not many around - and because owners know they've got something special, they tend to hang on to them. If you see one for sale - be ready to jump on it fast!

Oh, and Padgett, I've not seen a rusty one here yet - some early high-miler N/As can suffer with their rear arches and door bottoms - but maybe our super-rare SRTs are a bit more pampered...!

Hi Jake, keep your eye on the Trader, I know of one that has just gone from private ownership to a dealer!

The only problem, they will polish some bull sh6t into it and ask silly money!

What's your budget Jake?

Hi SRT6,

I guess it will be on it's way to the dealer near me in Cambridge who has a few.
Last one he had up for 10.5k so be interesting to see this one if I am correct.

I can run to around 8k but won't pay silly money for one.
Wish the guy had read down a few ads before posting though.

Cheers
Jake
