As title - what insurance do yo use?

I'm picking my car up on Saturday morning. so far my best quote is for 360 with hastings. but they wont allow any modifications, which is a bit poo for what I like to do.

 

I have and will only use statefarm they are expensive but when you need to use them they are fast and very nice to deal with. I have had 3 claims, deer and an actual wreck of my own fault each time I felt like I was treated like a victim and never had any changes to my rates. I pay around 60 a month for full coverage with 100 dollar deductibles and rental car.

I use rh Classic line
If it's a 2004 they will insure it as a classic
I have mine on ltd mileage and declared mods ands its under £200.
I have used them for a few years for my american classics and they have allwYs been good

 

I use More than £200 fully comp with rescue

 

I just run the details through confused.com each year and then use the cheapest.

At renewal I always do the same, and then use the best quote to haggle with my existing insurer, if they wont match it I move.

Surprisingly you will often find the best quote on confused.com is your existing insurer and is less than the renewal they have sent!! so i'm straight on the phone to them for an explanation and they usually try the old 'sorry thats for new customers only' rubbish, so I tell them i'll become someone elses new customer, they then usually give you the price you have seen online.

Its a game I play every year but its always worth the 30 mins of your time to do it.
