Default Headlamp unit advice needed

Hi,

I've got a problem with the right side headlamp assembly.
The main (high) beam projector housing is out of alignment. Sends the light beam out to the right by about 30 degrees rendering it next to useless.
Can this be fixed or do I have to bite the bullet and get a replacement unit?

Thanks

Are you sure that the bulb is in correctly?
If the bulb was changed recently then that may be the cause. The alignment can be possibly be set straight but it is something that rarely needs doing unless someone put the bulb in wrong and tried to readjust it. That would show up if the bulb was now set correctly in its seat.

Thanks onehundred80

I think you've hit the nail on the head. The bulb is in correctly, but at some time it has been so over-adjusted that the whole thing has come off. I was turning it and nothing was happening.
Once I could get proper access by removing the coolant reservoir I was finally able to get the adjuster to bite again and now it's all sorted.
Thanks again for you help

Good deal !
That is what I was going to suggest, the adjuster had 'slipped the cog'.
