Great to have your clear photos and explanation. Copied your method for TomTom Go6100. Have given up on getting dash mount to stick and reverted to screen mount with wiring run up side of dash and pushed down between dash and screen leaving enough tail to allow for easy mount installation and removal. Thanks for this thread. Followed the instructions and it worked a treat on my son’s SRT6. 30 minutes and all sorted!
