What’s wrong with it, they can be fixed sometimes.

Intermittently now again engine management lights comes on and diagnosed as secondary air injection pump buts it only happens on the odd occasion and then management light goes off.
My Crossfire does same thing the air pump works and the check engine light comes on after driving car to one town over aprox 10 miles then I must reset the check engine light to have the light to go off. I bought a new RCM and it started doing this after about 10 months of having the RCM installed because it was doing this before I bought the new RCM. So I have no idea what could be wrong with it. The check engine light will come on once I restart the engine after I come home from doing errands like light driving, the check engine light doesn't come on right away. The code says that the air pump is at fault. I went to the junk yard bought a used air pump and it does the same thing you can hear the air pump engage once you start the car. My emissions is due next month and I need to fix this because I asked for an extension once already. Once the car is 20 yrs old I can get antique classic tags which exempts me from emissions test. The car runs great .Can't wait to get this over with. I have replace all the coil packs and spark plugs and plug wires all new injectors and I am soon to change the fuel filter before next month just for maintenance I have installed new clutch and all fluids have been changed from power steering to rear end and new trans fluid. once I get this fixed I want to put a larger throttle body off a V8 Mercedes which I have ready to install ,I love my little red coupe.

Thanks for you'r response, These cars have their gremlins . As I mentioned my Crossfire runs great but these cars are very touchy especially the electronic gremlins .I will see once I change the oil and fuel filter and fuel pump this week end. I have replaced many parts on this car since I bought it in 2018 since it was a high mileage car when I got it. The car had no dash lights on when I bought it, it all started once I had the skreem failed and I had a forum member do a skreem delete in 2020-21 when it failed. As I mentioned this car was unloved when I got it and since I have had a love affair with this car since 2018 when I bought it. I started to replaced maintenance items as they had began to fail, there is not much else left to replace unless I replace the drive train but why would I do that when it runs like a new car LOLOL. Only thing which has not worked since I bought was the AC compressor which had froze up and I have am ready to install. a new system..
Thanks again for you'r responses

I've replaced a ZILLION of these relays. If interested in getting your RCM refurbished, email tighed1@hotmail.com for the details.
Ok, some videos say that you can test secondary air pumps by connecting directly to the terminal. Does this work for ours as well? I don't think the pump is coming on at all for me.
ok I am not aware how to close the relay manually, but I did take a look at it. There is a little discoloration, but nothing like the pic you attached
Pull the relay arm out and then look at it.

como hiciste la eliminacion del skreem?
mi crossfire enciende solo 1 segundo y se apaga
lo puedo hacer tres veces
despues ya no me deja hacer nada y desconecto bateria
ya programe 2 llaves y nada
el carro lleva estacionado 2 años
Ok, I actually tested the air pump directly and it was bad. Swapped in the new and everything was good for about a week. Now it's throwing P0410 again. I will take a look at the relay. The new pump is still good.
