Roadster
Collected my newly purchased roadster today. Sold without fault never like that. Have a few issues maybe someone on here can give me some answers. My main worry is if it's left for more then 5 minutes without starting you have to crank it over quite a bit before it starts but does start everytime but get the impression it's not going too. If you turn it off and restart immediately fires straight up. Second problem haven't had chance to look at fuses yet. No radio or horn . Thirdly after giving it a wash windows misted up on inside so obviously a leak somewhere any known places for them to leak or is it just a convertable it's 2006
The starting trouble sounds like a bad battery. Look up how to check the date code on a battery. If it's over 3 years old, you probably need a new one.
If the battery is new, it could also be that it's not getting a full charge. Check the connections at the battery posts and make sure they are tight.
You can also drive it to an auto parts store and they can test the battery and alternator for you, usually for free.

RCM, and you should have a spare in the car,,,(I carry two of them), crank sensor,,,cam sensor,, or fuel filter almost clogged up
oh the fuel filter and fuel regulator is in ONE, loose or corroded ground one next to the Batt, one on left side of engine almost under
the car. and yes this car has to have a good(make that the best)batt you can buy it does not like 11.2 or below volts.. to check the fuel
turn the key on for 15 to 20 seconds then turn it to start , if it starts .. the horn only works with the key on check that ,Never owned a roadster
but we do have water leaks on both roadster and coupe and if the electronics in the floor of the trunk right hand side =passenger side
what we do there is remove every thing U can on the pass side trunk all the way down to the plug in the bottom ,,,
remove that plug or at least cut a hole in it to drain the water all the time as u may not know when it gets water in it,, your door looking system
computer is there among other things u don't to get wet.. ok easy way to test Batt (better at night turn on head lights on wall or
any thing where U can see how bright they are now try to start the car WATCH THE LIGHTS ON THE WALL if they go low or out when cranking
u have a bad batt. hope this helps you . jim
