Nope, no one else has contacted me other than those listed above. If I ever saw another crossfire that I could leave a note on, I would do it too. Unfortunately I only see them in passing.

I think it is so cool that like car owners, want to get
together, meet and have a great time. Who would want
to pass that up.

I don't know who would want to pass it up...but they don't deserve their Crossfire.

Well I'm chomping at the bit. Every night doing a bit more detailing.
Waxing inside trunk, doors, and engine compartments.
I'm a bit excessive. That is what my co-pilot tells me.
Back out to the garage to finish engine compartment.

Because someone doesn't want to hang out, they don't deserve their Crossfire.

I really hope you didn't think I was serious...didn't mean to confuse/offend you.

Damn the internet for not letting us show sarcasm!

BTW...that was sarcasm too.

Can anyone recommend a decent set of 2 way radios to buy? I know nothing about them.

I have had Motorola's for years. They are relatively inexpensive
and reliable. I used to work for MOT. These only have a
range of a couple of miles, line of site. I just saw a commercial,
I believe they were Cobra and the distance was 5 miles plus.
Whenever we caravan, we always take them. It makes the trip
go faster. We let each other know when to pass, potty stops, etc.
A must have...

If you have a Fry's Electronics up by you, they usually carry
every band and have great prices..

Nope, you didn't confuse or offend. I just read word for word what was written, then asked, "is this guy for real"? I guess reading between the lines is not a talent I have.

Motorola or Cobra are your better brands, with both having models with an advertised 5 - 7 mile range (that is line of sight). ANY obstruction will greatly reduce their range. They can be bought just about anywhere electronics are sold. Walmart carries both brands in the $40 - $60 range. Some have a weather channel but raises the price (not worth it IMO).

Be sure to take along the second radio to use as a spare or take extra batteries if you plan on doing a lot of talking.

Yup, the one on Thunderbird isn't far. I think I will run over there tonight and check it out!

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys.
