Hello all, I wanted to propose a Paillions run next saturday 09.09.2006.

My suggestion would be to meet up for something to eat and then cruise into the Pavillions parking lot as a group.

What Time? I work on Saturdays but I'll get off early to meet some fellow xf'rs.

 

I was thinking of meeting somewhere to eat about 5 and taking off about 6 for the pavs.

I was thinking something simple and quick. Maybe in n out on Rural and the 202? Who else has ideas?

 

I can't make it this time, but remember that there's a Denny's right next to the show area and a 5 and Diner across the street. There are also about four or five other restaurants right in the Pavillions. That might make it easier for the folks coming from the north or west sides (rather than going down to Tempe).

 

I suppose I should have asked that. Where is everyone coming from? I'm from the west side but I would drive anywhere.

 

Count me in. My wife and I will there. (Scott & Lisa) We live in north Phoenix, 101 & 7th ave area. Will meet everyone at the Pavillions around 6 unless everyone decides to eat there. Then we will be earlier.

I will probably just show up around 5 and grab something to eat at one of the restaurants there. I will start looking out for all of you around 6. I would like for us all to park together so we can get some pictures and video as well.

You should be able to do that. Keep in mind, though, that the organizers have different sections of the lot marked off for different types of cars. So will they consider the Crossfire to be a domestic or an import? That may be tough for them to decide.

 

I wasn't sure how that all worked. Is there a head person that I need to talk to in order to save 5 spots for Crossfires? Or should I just go "claim territory" once I get there?

I've been there quite a few times, just never as any sort of organized car group.
