I have a 2005 coupe that is leased and need to turn in soon. And of course I have to replace the tires before I do so.

Looking for some good used tires.

Anyone got any tires. Thought someone may have put some custom tire and wheels on and have originials for sale??

 

if you can't find used tires, go to tirerack.com and enter your car info, they have cheap tires made by kumho (about 1/2 the price of other tires)

I've never heard of having to replace worn tires when turning in a lease. But then, I never lease. Please explain?

 

It's part of the maintenance agreement................I'm sure he didn't receve the car originally with bald tires. They will charge you full retail for new tires just as they will charge you for every mile you go over the predeturmined amount(ex: 12k mile/year lease).

 

Most leases require that the tread be of certain level. Mine are into the wear indicators and are into the indicators. Only 28,000 miles but gone.

Dealer says charge will be $1,300 unless I replace myself. What at ripoff.

 

I am in Phoenix Arizona. But dealer says tread has to be above wear indicators and mine is not.

 

I returned my car and the tires were only 50% or less they didn't say anything!
