It is cool for any owner/future owner to come and join us, we're a friendly bunch. There's actually several new people joining us for the first time so it should be an interesting meet and nobody should feel like a stranger.

A small-but-spirited group met at Denny's at the appointed hour. My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone: frk1 and wife, calxfire and wife, and cavoyager.

While there were only 4 XF's parked, it was interesting to note that all four were roadsters, and 3 were SRT's. Just how many SRT roadsters did they make ?

It was great to finally meet a few of the faces behind the screen names. It was a great gathering but could have been even better with a few more attendees. I was totally surprised that of the 4 cars there, 3 were SRT roadsters. I look forward to the next gathering and to possibly seeing some of you in Cottonwood in November.

You can see a couple of the pics of the 8/23 gathering at https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle...0&ppuser=14891

I was unable to make it, otherwise it would have been yet another aero blue roadster

Sorry we missed the 2nd meeting, but were out of town the last of August. Perhaps we can get an email list of the Northern CA Crossfire group so we can improve speed of info and not have to hope folks find it on the forum. Cindy and I would like to get together this fall for a XFire event!

I hate to be odd man out, but I'm the new proud owner of a 2004 coupe. I would love to have a chance to meet other owners. I'm in the Sacramento area but go over to Napa and Lake counties frequently. A Fall Napa Valley cruise would be a lot of fun.

Welcome to the forum

I live in Santa Rosa, and your absolutely right, a fall cruise through the Napa valley would be great Haven't been through the vines lately, but they've got to be changing colors soon.

I'm only about 45 minutes from Napa Valley, so I'd be up for a fall wine country cruise. Last time I did that was with the Viper club several years ago, and it was a blast.

I grew up in Napa and also lived in Sonoma County. I love both areas. Any suggestions on a date? My wife and I are going to be going up the coast the weekend of the 16-19th, so that is less workable for us.

My email is berrydg@earthlink.net

November 1st works for me. It would be nice to get a group. Any other Bay Area owners interested?

The day after Halloween. If it isn't too early in the AM I could probably make it.
