Riverside International Automotive Museum
Riverside International Automotive Museum
Hey all So. Cal Xfire owners,
I'm organizing a trip to Riverside International Automotive Museum on Saturday May 17th. If anyone is interested in joining me, we could meet at my house in Riverside then all drive over to the museum a couple of miles away.

Some more pics that are not of the museum but since I was processing them I'd thought I'd post them just for fun. A couple of weeks ago I took a tail cone off a Cessna 182 for inspection and this is what I found inside the cone and tail. This was a bird nest and you can see how much nesting material the little critters managed to pack away.

Brent, Great pics! Thanks for joining us on Saturday.
Mike, Let me know when you'd like to come out, and I'll contact Doug to make sure he'll be there. He's typically Open on Saturday afternoons, Although I know he's been testing a race car that the museume has just completed restoration on. It was a ground up restoration on Tony Adamowicz's 1969 formula 5000 season winning car. You can see it in some of Brent's pictures (it's the one on the angled stand. I know they were heading up to Willow Springs yesterday for the first round of testing since completion. The plan is to compete in this year vintage racing series.
