Default Stale crossfire sightings

I saw some Crossfires last summer (08) around So. Cal.

#1 A tangerine debadged coupe in the Ralphs parking lot in La Canada CA. We actually pulled up next to each other as we were leaving.

#2 A grey coupe at the ARCO station located at Santa Anita and Foothill in Arcadia CA A women was driving.

#3 A black coupe in the parking lot of Macaroni Grill in Newport Beach.

Now that I know we report these things......

Tangerine color? Was it a custom paint job?

Yes, it must have been. It looked pretty sharp! We pulled up to a light together after coming out of the parking lot. We laughed at the odd coincidence. I yelled over is that thing lowered? He yelled back" not yet". The light turned green, he turned left, I turned right, and that was it.

Yes! ever since SAV-MORE and THRIFTY gas went out of business ARCO has been my brand for my vehicles. When huffing however, I prefer Union 76.

Mr. Max, the reason I commented on ARCO was that anytime I'm following one of my friends/family members and I smell that "sulpher" smell, I always ask where did they buy their gas from......always same answer......ARCO. Maybe the higher octane levels don't give off the smell. But I always know when the wife goes to ARCO.

Maybe that Alaskan crude has a unique smell. When I use CITGO I smell the devil (I never use CITGO)
