Default Can anyone recommend an MB/Euro shop in Sacramento area?

Up in Sacramento area, and I'd like to change my IC pump. Problem is, I don't have my usual toolset handy, so I'm considering biting the bullet and letting a shop do it. Any recommendations from the peanut gallery? Thanks.

I know that this is an old thread but I was hoping that you might have info to help me. I am in Reno and will pass through Sacramento tomorrow. My IC pump went out today and I am hoping to find a replacement rather than limping the 6 home. Did you have any luck finding shop?

Sorry, I didn't. I ended up holding off changing it until I got it home. Best of luck.

What about the MB dealer in Rocklin? Those guys are nice, pricey, but nice...

when i was in grad school a few years back, i went to south side motors in downtown sac several times. richard, the owner, took care of my beloved '77 celica on a very tight budget. if you're honest with him, know a bit about cars, and do some leg work, he'll completely and totally treat you right. that's what he did for me for 5 years. even if you're not mechanically-inclined, he'll be honest with you.
