Hey, if you guys can make it to Irvine by 8:30 when class starts, you're welcome to come by. We go to about 2:30 so keep that in mind. If not this weekend, maybe we can schedule a Meguiar's Detail Day on another Saturday. Yes, classes are free.

 

OK! It's time to get this show on the road.

If any San Diego guys want to convoy, I will be under the Windmill(in the parking lot by the gas station) at the Palomar AirPort Road off ramp of I-5. It is about a 1hr drive from there. To get a decent spot to park, we should be there no later than 6:30am, so plan on leaving around 5:30am from there.

Any questions or suggestions add them to this thread or pm me. If anyone wants to do something as a group, after CnC we can make plans while we are there.

So are we doing Saturday's :Cars and Coffee", or Sunday's "Super Car Sunday"?

Hmmm, guess we weren't clear on what event to attend. Geo and I were planning on C&C and considering how close we are to the weekend, I think we should stick with C&C. Besides, we can harass, er, I mean say hi to Mike in Orange.

We can plan on using SCS as a draw for another meet in the future.

Geo, I'll work on getting maps posted but for those who are impatient, look through this forum for other C&C meets three or four years ago. At least one of the old C&C threads has a map to C&C.

 

 

Thats the first I have heard anything about Super Car Sunday.

 

hey, I'd love to have you guys come by but if plan on doing so I do ask that you arrive by 8:30 as class starts then. A head count would be nice, too, so I make sure to get enough donuts and order enough pizza. No biggie if you decide on something else, I'm just extending the invite.

 

I kind of doubt we can make it in time. What we can do though is interest enough Crossfire owners for a clinic some fine day.

Right back at you Len. As much pain as I was in, I had a great time. I really appreciate you guys stopping with me on our walk to the pier. I have never been in that much pain just trying to walk. Good pick by Albert for lunch. As cold and nasty as it was, that was the best Burger I have had in several years.

The swelling is finally starting to go down on my left ankle and knee. I don't think I have pushed a clutch pedal in that many times in the last 50 years.

I don't mind getting old, as long as I can shift my way to heaven(assuming that is the direction I go).

Looking forward to you guys coming down this way.

Just attended the Cars and Coffee on Saturday morning but got there around 7:45 or so. Met up with 4 other crossfires and we cruised down to Balboa pier and did lunch at Rubio's. Willing to attend more Cars and Coffee if theres going to be more crossfires there!
